Carla Romero is a Mexican-American journalist from Southern California. She currently interns at San Diego 6 News and writes for San Diego State University’s student newspaper The Daily Aztec.
Working towards a career in broadcast news, Carla has produced a student newscast at SDSU and has worked side by side with professionals at San Diego 6 to produce nightly newscasts.
Carla aspires to be a broadcast producer and is willing to relocate for the right position.
She will graduate from SDSU with a B.A. in Journalism in May 2014.
The only things Carla loves more than the news are coffee and travel. She has taken road trips across Mexico, ridden a camel across the Sahara Desert and studied abroad in Europe during the summer of 2013.
